NIKFI Cinema and Photo Research Institute JSC "Gorky Film Studio"

"Experimental production of a research institute (OP NIKFI)" was organized by the order of the Committee for Cinematography under the Council of People's Commissars of the USSR No. 215 of May 20, 1943, as an independent production enterprise by separation from the institute NIKFI.
FSUE "Experimental production of the Research Institute" produces studio condenser microphones of its own design and prototypes of cinema and photographic equipment. Thus, at present, FGUP carries out industrial production of the microphone KMN 15, KMN 16 and KMN 116 at its capacities for a wide range of applications.
The enterprise has started pilot production of an professional video camera, also developed at NIKFI. The camcorder is designed for macro photography in 3D and is at the forefront of 3D-cinematography technologies. The project is financed by the Ministry of Culture of Russia.
FSUE takes an active part in the work of the full color scientific magazine "The World of Cinema Technology" (publisher NIKFI), published four times in a year in 1000 copies.
