JSC «MNITI» is the head scientific organization of the Ministry of industry and trade of Russia in the field of digital television. It is the industry centre of expertise of television technologies in Russia and their implementation. The Institute produces the design, manufacture and installation of digital television equipment for professional and home use, as well as information systems based on multimedia technologies.
JSC «MNITI» is an active participant in the introduction of digital television in Russia. The Institute is one of the founders of the Association of developers and manufacturers of broadcasting equipment (ARPAT). Member of the international Association of FOBTV (Future of Broadcast Television).
On the initiative of JSC «MNITI» in 2016, established the multipurpose scientific-technical council of the digital television (NTS CT). NTS CT consists of 5 sections, including section «Holographic TV and VR technology».
