“Vremya” is a unique biography channel telling about the lives of great personalities of our time and legendary figures of the past
“Vremya” features authored and biographic programs telling about legendary people and events, Russian and foreign documentary series, and materials from the archives of the State TV and Radio Fund and Channel One Russia.
In 2009, the “Vremya” channel has been awarded the most prestigious European award in the field of satellite Hot Bird TV Awards for the best documentary channel. In 2010 Oleg Nesterov – author and host of three programs on “Vremya” – was awarded National Awards for satellite, cable and Internet TV "Golden Ray" for the best presenter.
“Vremya”, along with “Telecafe”, “Muzyka Pervogo” and “Dom Kino” is a part of Digital TV Family – project of thematic television of Channel One Russia.
