Rohde & Schwarz is a company with an international presence in the fields of test and measurement, information technology and communications. The company is headquartered in Munich.
The first time products by Rohde & Schwarz appeared in the Russian market was in 1960s. In 1992 a representative office was opened in Moscow, and in September 2004 ROHDE & SCHWARZ RUS, LLC [OOO «РОДЕ и ШВАРЦ РУС»], a Russian subsidiary, was established. Later regional representative offices were open in Saint Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Nizhny Novgorod. A new office is to be open in Rostov-on-Don. In 2005, Rohde & Schwarz opened its own service centre in Moscow. All operations are performed in compliance with ISO 9001:2000 and Russian GOST ISO-9001. The service centre is completed with modern processing equipment to carry out diagnostics, repairs and calibration of various types, updating of the equipment.
ROHDE & SCHWARZ is number one company producing advanced equipment for digital TV and radio broadcasting systems. By now, we have organized manufacturing of 200W to 10kW transmitters in Russia. In the nearest future, we are organizing production of low power transmitters in Russia.
