Rohde & Schwarz is a company with an international presence in the fields of test and measurement, information technology and communications. Rohde & Schwarz was founded in 1933 by Dr. Lothar Rohde and Dr. Hermann Schwarz - two physicists of Jena university. For 70 years the company group has been developing, producing and marketing a wide range of electronic products for the capital goods sector. The company is headquartered in Munich. In 2008/2009 FY the company achieved a net revenue of € 1.2 billion. Rohde & Schwarz has a global presence and a dedicated service network in over 70 countries. It has approx. 7400 employees. Moscow Representative office was opened in 1992. At the moment there are 50 people in staff.
